Home Care Assistant – Social Care Worker (£9.50 per hour Stevenage)

Hope Care Support are preferred supplier for Luton Borough Council and Central Bedfordshire County Council for home care in all areas itemized below and therefore we can offer as many hours as you wish to work .

Experience is preferable but if you don’t have previous experience no prior experience is required as full training is provided.

Our hourly rates start at £9.50 per hour + 25p mileage + 12% holiday pay + additional benefits such as a reliability bonus scheme.

Job Title: Care Worker

Reports to: Registered Manager

Main function of the job: (Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required). To positively support the Registered Manager in providing leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance functions of The Agency.

To deputize for the function of the Registered Manager during their absence, while at all times supporting the decisions made by the Registered Manager.

To maintain Care and management skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice.

To manage the services within The Agency in accordance with standards agreed with the Registered Manager, Registered Provider, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practice, and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time with the Registered Provider.

Job Title: Support Worker.
